A78 Losing GPS fix constantly
I have installed a new A78 into my Aluminium Fishing Boat, it is flush mounted into the aluminium centre console as per the attached photo.The GPS fix seems to take a long time to pick up a position and constantly drops out, even in open water.Has anyone else had a similar issue, or is there a simple fix, or is the internal GPS antenna likely being affected by the aluminium console, or is it a faulty device?Is an external GPS antenna available for an A78?Thanks See More
