My EV1 green LED has the slow blink on at all times. This supposedly means no compass information is available, but the pilot functions all work well. Mag compass headings are displayed correctly. I have run it for hours on countless courses and the result is the same. It is mounted upside down, level, on stbd side but oriented parallel to the boat centerline. It is > 1m from any large source of interference but is close to some 12 vdc wiring to lights and FM radio.See More
