How set up the system
Hello,I'm replacing my 435i with a new MFD and AIS. I would like to know what is the best way to connect the existing HW that I have. Please see instrumentation.pdfinstrumentation.pdfThe new MDF will need speed over water, heading and wind information from the ST60/ST4000+. ST4000+ would need the cross-track error, etc for steering to way point. Then the 215E needs GPS position from the MDF. And finally the AIS would need to be able to get heading and position information in and send the AIS information out to the MDF.Is the iTC5 a solution which can be used? Would it work with the ST4000+ and should I purchase new ST70 display to be able to calibrate the instruments. I understood that there might be some problems with the autopilot response to the heading and rudder signals as the iTC5 will cause some delay to the communication.Or is E22158 better so that I connect the package according to the attached instrumentation 2.pdf.instrumentation%202.pdfThanks,RobertSee More
