Hello,The other weekend shortly after I left the dock I was poking along slowly in my sailboat and when I finally got ready to follow the route I set up with the pilot I noticed I had past the 3rd or 4th waypoint in the route. I then saw that I could select "advance waypoint". However the pilot (ST4000 wheel pilot) was trying like crazy to turn to the first waypoint (because I asked it to of course) but the plotter was throwing up messages and then asking if I was sure etc etc,I guess what I am asking is this...If I am say in the middle of a route, say 3 or 4 waypoints in, (not following via the pilot or maybe just in heading mode) and I decide to follow the route, (i also know I need to be pretty much lined up on the bearing proir to going to track mode) do I have to select advance waypoint however many waypoints I have passed all each time all the while the e7 plotter is fussing at me with messages asking me if I am sure over and over for each waypoint I passed?Surley there is a way to follow a rout from somewhere within the waypoint string I am hoping?thanks,See More
