Hi,This past winter I hooked up my e7 MFD to my new Icom VHF. In following the instructions here and elsewhere I hooked the NMEA connections (in & out) to port 1 and set port 1 to 4800 baud.I also have a AIS 650 hooked up to the system and noticed that in it's instructions it says to set port 1 to 38,400 baud. When I do this I no longer get the GPS position data on the VHF. Should I have wired this differently? (VHF requires in and out NMEA connections.) AIS works both ways but at 4800 baud am I sacrificing anything? Should I rewire something?Thanks all,NealSee More
