I have both a Wind and a Close Hauled fitted in my sailboat. While under way with any sort of wind it is difficult to confirm but I think that there is at least a 5 deg if not 10 deg difference in the two displays readouts. I tried to put the ST60 Wind (i.e. Master) into the demo mode. But each time I set the demo mode to "ON" with the VMG button, within a couple of seconds it toggled back to off. My thoughts were that in the demo mode the wind direction and speed changes slowly and in small increments. I could then tell if the 2 displays are in sync with each other.My question is: When a Close Hauled display (i.e. Slave) is connected via SeaTalk, is is it possible to put the ST60+ Wind in the demonstration mode?See More
