'Tack Heading' definition/derivation

Would you be able to advise the definition and derivation of the data item "Tack Heading" in the new a series MFD? Is this the new tack heading (current heading plus or minus the tacking angle?)On a more general point is there a document describing/defining data items that are not immediately obvious (e.g. drift which may include both (tidal +current drift and leeway?)Many thanks,Paulp.s. apologies for all the questions!See More

ST60 Tridata

Why does my speed show some super large number, like 632 kts, when I'm actually going about 15 kts. My Rl70c shows the correct speed. I have seatalk & output wires for Tridata & RL70c are landed under same screws. Also what's interesting is when I go into the "calibration" mode on the ST60 & toggle between different screens, it shows the correct speed! It doesn't matter if we are under power or just slow idle, the speed reading on Tridata is always some 600 number. This is really driving me nuts!!

Raymarine A65 Multifunctional Display and RS12 Antenna

During a complete refurbishing of my boat I had my RS12 antenna cable cut and the part of cable with the 6 pin connector lost.As my chartplotter and antenna were working very well I would like to have a way to connect my RS12 antenna. Is possible to buy another piece of cable with a 6 connector to weld in the cable of my antenna?Does Raymarine sell this?If no, what is the specification of the 6-pin female connector? Is it possible to find it in the internet?Another idea is to open and weld the cable direct in the right pins. The wire cable of RS12 antenna are:Silver ->Yellow ->Red ->Brown ->Green ->What is the schematic to combine cable colors and position in 6 pin connector?Regards. See More
