Navionics Gold not displaying on C80

I inserted the Navionics CF card into my Raymarine C80 this year and the detail does not load. I tried the card for the Florida area that came with the boat and that detail did not come up either. Both of these worked last summer. In reading a number of articles today, it may be possible that I need to update software but I find that odd as everything worked beautifully last year.Where do I go from here? Thanks for your assistance.Andrew DicksonSee More

RS-130 Interface to a Hybrid Network with Seatalk NG and Seatalk HS

Hi,I have a networked set of E-120 and E-80 classic displays (networked via Seatalk HS) and then a partial NG network with an EVO-400 pilot and a couple of P70R's and an i-70 instrument.  The NG network data communicates with the HS side via an NMEA 2000 adapter cable running from an NG spur port to the E-120 master.GPS for the system is currently provided by a NMEA 0183 sensor connected to one of the slave MFDs, an E-80 on the flybridge.I'm thinking about changing the GPS sensor to a RS-130 because I'd like to not have my entire system depending on GPS coming through a slave MFD.So, could I interface the RS-130 into the NG network at the flybridge (where one end of the NG bus terminates right now) and then expect GPS position data will find its way to the MFDs via the NMEA2000 interface into the master MFD and then back to the other MFDs via the Seatalk HS network? If that data connectivity is feasible, then my proposed solution is to remove the terminator currently at the flybridge,  extend the NG backbone cable to where the RS-130 would mount (radar arch above the flybridge), use a terminating adapter (A06074) and then a short spur cable to connect to and power the RS-130.  LEN load balance will still be reasonable for the NG bus,  7 loads on one side of the power feed point and 5 loads on the other.Comments?See More
